Tomcat 4.1.* sometimes buffers events before sending them towards the destination browser. Efforts to close the destination browser fail. Tomcat 5.0 does not give any problems (tested with Tomcat 5.0.16).
The MIS was tested with Opera 7.11. The Adobe SVG Viewer works well with this browser. Unfortunately it appears not to be possible to get a reference to the SVG dom from the html frame that the svg document is part of. Therefore the mapping of incoming pushlet events to graphical updates in SVG does not work.
Mozilla 1.4 crashes on Windows with the Adobe SVG plugin. Mozilla is developing native SVG support. This has not been tested with the MIS
